Good project research starts with traceable evidence. Every candidate links back to the city record that informed it.
Official city activity
Our initial source is the City of Charlotte commercial land-development layer. It includes names, identifiers, addresses, opening dates and recorded statuses.
Records with context
We consolidate compatible parcel rows under their city record ID. Possible related applications stay visible because multiple records can concern one physical project.
Screened for relevance
Names and categories identify possible security, cabling and AV relevance. Terminal statuses, address conflicts and reviewed exclusions remove unsuitable candidates.
An observation history
Complete collections preserve raw source responses and record changes. The feed shows its last successful check. Failed collection does not replace the previous dataset.
What the record establishes
A city record establishes reported development activity. It does not establish that an installer has not been selected, an open bid exists, or a business intends to buy a particular service. Contractor, budget, purchasing stage and available scope remain unknown unless separately supported.
Source summaries identify observed facts and follow-up questions. Any AI interpretation is labeled separately. Your own notes and pursuit outcomes stay in your workspace.
Current coverage and freshness
Coverage is City of Charlotte commercial land-development activity from the past year of opening or status activity. It is not a complete Mecklenburg County building-permit feed. Collection is working; independent recurring refresh and email delivery are still being activated.
Public examples are labeled with their observation date. Subscriber data displays its last successful source check. A record's opening or status date does not establish a current buying window.
